To integrate your equipments ON/OFF signal (12V) select the interface box:
This device allows you to integrate a 12V ON/OFF signal from your seeder, sprayer or any other equipment into FarmerGPS. FarmerGPS will then automate the F2-key and indicate on the map where your equipment was ON or OFF. This may also be used with pressure switches or any other 12V indication of the equipments ON/OFF status. Comes with a 5-pin connector.

The device uses optoisolators to seperate electric circuits of your equipment and the serial port of your laptop.

This device functions the same as the ON/OFF box, however it adds support for up to 3 boom sections in FarmerGPS. Connect 12 V ON/OFF indicators for your boom sections and FarmerGPS will draw coverage areas accordingly. Comes with a 5-pin connector.

To integrate your equipments ON/OFF signal (12V) and up to 10 booms select the USB interface boom box :
This device functions the same as the ON/OFF box, however it adds support for up to 10 boom sections in FarmerGPS. Connect 12 V ON/OFF indicators for your boom sections and FarmerGPS will draw coverage areas accordingly. While the ON/OFF and the 3-boom interface typically go into the signal line of the GPS-receiver, the USB-interface box connects to a USB-port on your laptop. Comes with a 15-pin d-sub connector.

Novatel has released a new antenna specifically designed for the agriculture market. The NovAtel Smart-AG.

We are currently not offereing any other GPS-receivers, however keep in mind that you can use any NMEA capable GPS receiver with FarmerGPS. A very low cost entry type receiver is the Garmin 18X-5Hz version for around $ 200.- and a number of our customers use this receiver. If you do require great accuracy, the Novatel Smart-AG is one of the best choices for WAAS GPS receivers in our opinion.

Newer laptops no longer provide a RS232 interface. The USB-RS232 converter will install a virtuell RS232 port and has been tested with FarmerGPS.
