FarmerGPS may be downloaded and tested for free.
The trial is limited to 10 min intervals of GPS positioning information.
A simple restart will provide recording of another 10 min interval.
There are no other limitations. FarmerGPS also contains a simulation
mode. This allows you to test FarmerGPS without a GPS receiver!
Any standard GPS receiver which provides NMEA 2.0 protocol output to
your laptops serial port may be used. FarmerGPS uses RMC and GGA values which are standard output strings on most devices.
FarmerGPS.EXE requires Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 to
run on your computer. Since the installation file for Microsoft
.Net Framework 2.0 is quite large (23.7 MB), it might take up to
one hour to download if you have a dial-up Internet connection.
It takes about 8 minutes to download Microsoft .Net Framework installation
file for a DSL connection.
To check whether .Net Framework 2.0 is installed on your computer,
please go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double-click on
Add or Remove Programs. If you see "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0"
on the list, it is already installed. If you need to download and
install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, please click
here to download the installation file (dotnetfx.exe)
directly from Microsoft. Windows Viesta has the .Net Framework installed
already, thus you will not need to download it.

FarmerGPS does come with an online user manual, however if you

Simply double-click FarmerGPS4.msi on your laptop. (ensure Microsoft
Framework 2.0 is installed first) If you have an existing installation,
please uninstall with Control Panel/Remove Programs.

You are downloading a free but limited version of FarmerGPS!
This version is limited to the recording of 10 min of GPS data,
for a full version please buy a license key. As soon as you have
the license key, register in the Setup tab, no new download is required.
The licensed version of Farmergps has no restrictions.
